About Us
Your Mediator: Abdul Wahid
Abdul Wahid has recently trained to conduct mediation with the Family Mediation Association (FMA) and is working towards accreditation with the Family Mediation Council (FMC), with over 10 years of experience helping families and businesses resolve disputes.
Over the past decade, Abdul has worked with hundreds of families going through separation and divorce, helping them reach practical agreements about their children, finances, and future. He also has experience in business and workplace mediation, bringing a calm, structured approach to even the most difficult conversations.
When you book with BookMIAM, Abdul is your mediator from start to finish. You will not be passed between different people. He will guide you through what to expect, explain how online family mediation works, and help you find a way through the challenges you are facing.
Abdul’s Approach
Every MIAM begins with a private, confidential one-to-one meeting where you can tell your story from your own perspective. There is no pressure. No judgement. Just clear, calm guidance about the options available to you.
Abdul believes that families going through separation deserve better than a long, expensive, adversarial court process. Mediation gives you the space to resolve things on your own terms, with professional support to keep conversations focused and productive.
His approach is grounded in practical problem-solving. He does not take sides, and he does not tell you what to do. Instead, he helps both parties communicate clearly, understand each other’s concerns, and explore solutions that work for everyone, especially the children.
